It is an unofficial Colorado tradition to revel in the beauty of aspen
groves throughout the state during our travels; and if we’re lucky, while
at home in the mountains. Beginning in late September, fall is ushered in by
the aspens with the magical transformation of their leaves from their familiar
pale green to an intense shimmering yellow. West of Crested Butte, along Kebler
Pass lives what is thought by many to be the largest grove of aspen trees in
the world. Jeeping Off-Roading, Four-Wheeling take your pick; Crested Butte offers

forget to tap into some of the local history along the way. Rafting & Kayaking
